The great state of Michigan is a treasure trove of ideas and artistic talent. That's what inspired us to create the Great Lakes Artisan Village. In an effort to include all forms of art, we started carrying classic Michigan foods: Sanders Candy, Faygo Pop, and Better Made Chips. Slowly, other Michigan flavors were revealed to us, some we already knew about and some that were rare finds. It soon became apparent that Michigan's food culture was much larger than what we could handle in the Village. Thus it was the Great Lakes Marketplace began.
